Building a Better Downtown Welland
Downtown Welland has the assets, the people, and the potential.
What we need is a clear vision, practical action, and a willingness to build on what we already have.
We need a clear, concise plan focused on supporting local businesses, creating opportunity, strengthening arts and culture, improving safety and cleanliness, connecting downtown to the canal, and restoring pride in our community.
We don't need to reinvent downtown Welland. We need to invest in what makes it uniquely Welland—and make it work.
Restore pride. Create opportunity. Build a downtown for everyone.
On October 26th, GO VOTE.
The focus is not on the position itself, but on establishing a clear, formalized vision for downtown Welland and helping turn that vision into a long-term plan for the city. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I believe in bringing the right people together, listening to the community, and building that vision collectively.
This will be a different kind of campaign: no door knocking, no flyers, and no signs. The focus is not on interrupting people at home, creating more paper waste, or adding to visual clutter. Instead, the campaign will focus on meaningful ideas, public discussion, and a clear vision for the future of downtown Welland.
